AquaForte X45 Spray Bond provides a high quality, heat-resistant contact adhesive for sticking EPDM pond liners to a variety of materials. The easy to use premium contact adhesive is ideal for fixing in place stone liner edging and underlay. AquaForte Spray Bond is also ideal for use as a mounting aid during the installation of EPDM pond liner to steep walls, as a means to hold it in place. Thanks to the high solids and rubber content, Spray Bond is extremely strong whilst also remarkably quick to dry, taking approximately only 2 minutes at 20°C.
How Do I Use AquaForte X45 Spray Bond?
Remove any moisture and grease and gently spray the AquaForte X45 Spray Bond onto both surfaces being glued. The ideal distance between the surface and the spray gun is around 30cm. Try to apply the glue in a single layer. Bring the surfaces together after 2-4 minutes and press or roller firmly into place. Wait at least twice as long to glue the surfaces together if the layers applied have been overlapped. Check thoroughly to see whether there is sufficient contact between the glue layers if the surface is porous and apply an extra layer if necessary.
